Jill and Kevin Do the Right Thing
The video of their entrance processional made YouTube viral history in the weddings category. The greatest thing about it is that they’ve used it to raise funds for a non-profit dedicated to ending domestic violence. Kudos to Jill & Kevin! J&K Wedding Entrance on YouTube

In keeping with ongoing economic concerns, couples are continuing to go small: smaller weddings, budgets, and guest lists. Many look to wedding packages with established wedding coordinators such as Ultimate USA Weddings – specializing in New York City weddings – and Ultimate California Weddings.
“He gives large parties.”
“And I like large parties. They’re so intimate. At small parties there isn’t any privacy,” said Jordan Baker to Nick Carraway in The Great Gatsby. IMHO, a more brilliant line of fiction was never written. This counterintuitive statement perfectly describes the wonder of having a small, elegant wedding in the midst of New York City. There’s nothing like being in love, just the two of you, alone in the colorful crowd. Don’t take my word for it. Look at these wedding photos from Ultimate USA Weddings. You’ll see what I mean.

Get Married Launches Magazine
Every day we hear how print media are closing operations and consolidating all content to the Web, but here’s a reverse situation… Get Married, the multi-channeled wedding planning resource with platforms online and on television every weekday, announces a third platform – a new, glossy national wedding magazine launching this October. Just goes to prove that love endures all – even a lousy economy. If you would like to receive a free copy of the new magazine, send an e-mail to Magazine@GetMarried.com or register for a copy on the website.
I Do…. For Less
“You can trim costs and still have the day you’ve dreamt of,” says Gino Filippone of Ultimate USA Weddings and Ultimate California Weddings. Even couples who can afford pricier weddings are paring back because it’s not good form to show off during a recession when times are difficult for so many. The average cost of a wedding in the U.S. was $19,212 in the first quarter, down from $21,814 last year according to this Wall Street Journal article. The key is for the couple to set their priorities (the must-haves for the wedding day) and their budget and plan accordingly.
